Welcome

Rochele Help is the internal user guide for the Rochele Painting business system. It explains how a painting enquiry travels from the website through quoting, scheduling, on-site work, invoicing and tradesperson payments, and which screen or app is used at each step.

The guide is written for office and management staff: management, operations, accounts, estimators, project managers and admin. It also explains how the tradesperson side works so that everyone understands the whole flow, even if they never touch the tradesperson app themselves.

Rochele is not one app. It is a web app at the centre, with three companion tools that feed into it.

Web app (rochele.cloud)

The main office system. Leads, customers, quotes, jobs, the planning board, tradespersons, materials, invoices, advances, KPIs and all settings live here. Used by management, operations, accounts, estimators and project managers at a desk.

iPad app

For estimators and project managers out on site. Estimators book appointments, build and send quotes and manage leads. Project managers see their jobs, run site visits, write reports, rate tradespersons and message the team. It syncs with the web app, so anything done on the iPad shows up in the office.

Tradesperson app

The mobile app for painters and other trades (called the Rochele Trades app). Tradespersons accept safety hazards and the safe work method statement, clock in and out, see the materials charged to their jobs, send progress photos, request advances, upload their invoices and manage team members. Nothing in it is edited by office staff, but everything it produces lands in the web app.

Website booking form

The public form on rochele.com.au. A customer picks their property and service type, enters the address, chooses an estimator and a time, and the system creates the lead, the customer, the quote and the appointment automatically. Estimator zones decide which estimators are offered.

The exact menus each person sees depend on their role and any extra permissions granted to them. See Roles and Permissions.

Most pages in this guide follow the same shape: what you see on the screen, what you can do there, how it works behind the scenes, and tips and gotchas. UI labels are shown in bold exactly as they appear, for example Create Quote. Menu paths are written like Settings > Entities > Sources.
