Estimator Zones
Estimator Zones (Settings > Entities > Estimator Zones) is a map on which management draw where each estimator works and on which weekdays. When a customer books through the website, or the office books an appointment, the property address and the chosen day are matched against these zones to pick an estimator. Operations adjust it when estimators change their run days.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”- An Estimator dropdown listing the users enabled for online booking allocation, plus View All. Each estimator has a colour.
- A Days multi-select offering Every Monday to Every Friday. The days you tick apply to the shapes you are about to draw for that estimator.
- The Google map with rectangle, circle and polygon tools.
- A toggle to show current jobs on the map.
- Clear last, Remove selected, Delete All and Reset Map options, and Save.
What you can do

Section titled “Set an estimator’s zones and days”- Choose the estimator.
- Tick the weekdays they cover this area.
- Draw the area (one or more shapes) and click Save.
- Repeat with different days or areas as needed; for example a Gold Coast polygon for Thursdays and a Brisbane south polygon for the other days.
Remove coverage
Section titled “Remove coverage”Select the shape and use Remove selected, or Delete All for the estimator, then Save.

Section titled “Website bookings”When a customer submits the Website Booking Form with a preferred date and time and no estimator is preset, the system:
- geocodes the address and finds every estimator whose zone contains it and whose zone days include that weekday;
- removes estimators already booked or blocked at that time (existing appointments and recurring blocks);
- if one remains, assigns them; if several remain, assigns the one with the fewest future quotes; if none, leaves the quote without an estimator and writes a log entry for the office to allocate manually.
Office appointments
Section titled “Office appointments”The Appointments screen uses the same zones and days to show which estimators are available for an address and time slot, so office bookings follow the same territory rules.
Tips and gotchas
Section titled “Tips and gotchas”- An estimator with no days ticked will never be allocated automatically, even if their shape covers the address.
- Only users flagged for online booking allocation appear in the dropdown. If an estimator is missing, ask the developers to enable online booking allocation on their user record; the user list is under User Management.
- Requests to add time ranges to zones (for example mornings only on Thursdays) are recorded in Jira (ROCH-1216) but not built; zones work by whole weekday.
- Like PM Zones, allocation needs a geocoded address, so bookings with unrecognised addresses fall to manual allocation.
